French vintage painted dog statue.
Here we have a lovely little statue depicting a splendid dog.
He is really well modelled, the artist has really captured this lovely dog very well. It is in an unusual colourway with a gold and red glossy finish. The overall condition is good, he does have a couple of tiny chips to the paint which I have shown in the photos but nothing that detracts from the splendour of the piece. He has Tom written on the front at the base and there is a signature on the base at the back but this is quite hard to make out, it looks like Madem. I think he probably dates to the 30s or 40s.
A fabulous little dog statue that would make a lovely addition to any collection.
Dimensions approx. Length 23 cm 9 ins. Height 15 cm 6 ins.
