A fine example of a French mid century oil painting.
The painting is very well executed in oils and shows a river running through a woodland scene.
The overall condition is good. The picture is painted on wooden board.
There is a signature in the bottom right hand corner but it is quite hard to make out.
This little picture although in a very naive style is very well painted. The artist has really captured the light and shade very nicely.
This really is a striking picture and with a nice new frame would make a great addition to your home decor.
