French oil painting. French country snow scene.
Here we have a very charming picture of a river passing through a snowy landscape with mountains in the background.
The painting is vintage rather than antique and probably dates to the late twentieth century.
The overall condition is good, there is some very minor crackling to the surface here and there but nothing too bad. There is a signature in the bottom right area but it is quite hard to make out.
This really is a striking picture and with a nice new frame would make a great addition to your home decor.
A lovely piece of original French art

All our items are vintage or antique and so have been loved and used in the past. You can expect to see minor signs of use on all items, but we will endeavour to point out any condition issues which we feel go beyond normal wear and tear.
