Large French vintage chalkware statue of St Therese of Lisieux. St. Therese is one of the most popular saints and her shrine at the Basilica of Lisieux is the second most popular in France after Lourdes. This is a large statue standing at around sixteen inches tall, and heavy at nearly two and a half kilos.
Condition: Good used condition with a few very minor chips and a little bit of paint loss in places, you can see a little bit of paint loss on her nose and around her mouth, but generally the condition is good and she has been very finely modelled.
