Set of four vintage red French country kitchen enamelware canisters. These canisters were actually made in Slovakia to be exported into France. They were retailed in France with French writing many years ago. You can see on the bases the information. They are a bright scarlet red on the outside of the pot and white enamel on the inside. As is often the case with these old canisters they have rusty chippy bits here and there. I have tried to point out some of these in the photos. The writing on the front is in a raised enamel which gives a lovely decorative effect. There are Sucre, Cafe, Farine and Pates.
Condition: Good used condition, they do have chippy areas as I have said, and some chippy areas on the insides as well. There are some light scratches in places.
