French antique ornate spelter gilded vases. Here we have a splendid little pair of metal vases or garnishes formed in the classical French style. The vases are in spelter and as you can see the gilding has rubbed away in places to give an almost two tone effect to the decoration. One of the vases stands with a very slight wobble, they probably date to the early twentieth century, perhaps late nineteenth. These vases would bring a touch of French shabby chic splendor to any home decor.
