French antique spelter statue of classical scene. Here we have a lovely old French spelter statue showing a classical scene with ladies with baskets of flowers. This statue is very heavy so is quite expensive to ship so please check the shipping costs carefully before purchasing. The statue was bought locally here in Normandy at a street market. The overall condition is good. There is one very small crack at the top of the arch which I have tried to show in the photos but this does not detract from the splendor of the piece. we believe this statue may have originally been atop a very large clock because of the shape of the arch but we cannot be certain of this. A wonderful and very French statue that would make a great addition to any home decor.
