French antique blue apothecary bottle. Here we have a splendid blue glass apothecary jar with an enamel sign dating back to the late nineteenth century. It is in a lovely rich blue colour. There is no cork stopper but the original toleware lid is still in place. The sign to the front of the bottle is in enamel and reads " Salicyl Methyl ".

Condition : The overall condition is good. The glass bottle is in good order, there is some tarnishing to the toleware lid.

Dimensions approx.  height 20 cm  8 ins.  Width 8 cm  3 ins.  weight 600 g.
