French vintage plaster corbel.

French vintage corbel in plaster with old man face decoration. Here we have a lovely little corbel shelf with fabulous decoration. There is a face carved into the front, quite a spooky face with mouth open. I am not sure who this is supposed to represent, perhaps some mythological figure or maybe even the green man. The corbel is quite a small size so please check the dimensions carefully. There are two small metal hooks at the top for hanging purposes. This piece dates to the twentieth century and is more vintage than antique. It certainly has a presence about it and would make an interesting feature in the home.

Condition: There are a few chips to the plaster here and there, you can see he has a chip to his nose and there is some plaster loss right at the base of the piece.
