Antique Bronze centre stand by E Famin. Antique bronze centrepiece. This is a small piece so please check the dimensions carefully.
This fabulous little antique is by the renowned French sculpter
E. Famin who was known for sculpting car mascots.
Many of these car mascots have sold for very high sums, this is an artist of some quality.
This little piece is a small tazza or table centrepiece and has splendid leaf decoration to the top with the E.Famin signature on the top also.
It stands on a little pedestal and there is a slight difference in the colouring as you can see in the photos the top is of a darker sheen to the base, you could probably polish the top to a higher shine if so desired to match the base but I quite like the two tone effect.
There is some very minor nibbling around the rim and if you hold the tazza up to the light there is a tiny pin prick hole which was probably formed during the casting. This small tazza would be perfect for a jewellery or trinket dish, just the perfect size and with beautiful decoration.
A beautiful and highly collectable piece of French art that would make a wonderful
and unusual gift gift.
