Small antique pewter plates. French pewter plates. These are very small plates more the size of coasters, so please check the dimensions very carefully. They would be ideal to use as coasters if perhaps you are looking for that very old game of thrones or lord of the rings look. They would look great around the tavern table for peoples drinks.
We believe the plates to date to the nineteenth century.
The overall condition for their age is good, they do have some scratches and as you can see in the photos they are quite distorted which just adds to their character and charm.
These are heavy little plates so will have quite a high lead content as the early pewter plates tended to have.
A lovely old set of small pewter plates that would really enhance any home decor, and make a great addition to any collection.
