A splendid piece of country house decor, this lovely antique mahogany letter rack is just the thing to give your house a stately home feel. This is a wall hanging rack not a desk top rack and there are a couple of little hooks on the back for hanging purposes.
There are five little shelves and the edges have the added bonus of having stringing which adds a quality feel. The shelves are angled backwards as you can see and are quite shallow for letters perhaps letters back then were a little smaller in size. you could use these shelves for storing little bits and bobs instead of letters, either way they would make a lovely decorative feature in the home.
The overall condition is good with just a few very minor knocks here and there as you would expect on an antique item such as this.
