Antique metal Lion. French antique Lion statue. Please check the dimensions carefully, this is a small statue.
Here we have a lovely little statue of a lion in metal.
This lion is really nicely modelled and although small in size it really has a charm about it.
I am not sure of the metal it is quite weighty for its size and there is a trace of gold colouring under his belly, so it could be brass.
On the underside someone has scratched the date 1921 and there are also some initials which look like perhaps MP.
The Lion has a black finish.
A splendid old antique Lion that would make a wonderful addition to any collection and add a touch of antique charm to your home decor.
