French Art Nouveau style sculpture in clay of a young girl.
Here we have a beautiful quality artwork in the form of a clay sculpted plaque showing a young girl, very much in the Art Nouveau style. This is a heavy artwork so please check the shipping carefully.
It is very nicely modelled and has a real feeling of serenity about it.
It was found locally in an antique shop here in Normandy.
The overall condition is good there are however a few chips to the clay here and there as to be expected but only very minor. I have tried to show this in the photos. Having said that, this is a wonderful quality piece of art and a piece that we could not pass by. It has been modelled by a really talented artist.

There is a signature on the base for J chiron. We believe J Chiron to be an artist born in the nineteenth century.
A fabulous old bust that would look superb if you are going for that classical French feel, a piece that would really add to any shabby chic look and be a wonderful addition to any boudoir decor. A truly original piece.
