French bust of child. Bisque porcelain bust. This is a small bust so please check the dimensions carefully.
Here we have a lovely little bust in bisque of a child. It is small in size but full of charm and character.
It is very nicely modelled and has a real feeling of serenity about it.
It was found locally in an antique market here in Normandy.
I was told buy the seller that this is a Limoges piece. I would think it dates to the twentieth century, so is vintage rather than antique.
The bust is very light in weight as it is hollow.
A fabulous vintage bust that would look superb if you are going for that classical French feel, a piece that would really add to any shabby chic look and be a wonderful addition to any boudoir decor.
Dimensions approx. Height 10 cm 4 ins. Width 5cm 2 ins.
