This lovely oil on board shows haystacks in a bright country setting, it is really nicely painted and has a real rustic charm about it.
There is a signature in the bottom left hand corner which is quite faded and hard to read. On the back there is a retailers label for the board which is based in Hannover so this painting is very likely German in origin.
I would think it probably dates to the second half of the twentieth century.
The overall condition is good It has a nice solid wooden frame in place so is ready to hang immediately.
A wonderful vintage painting that would enhance any home decor and bring a bit of rural charm to your home.
