Antique blue glass bottle decanter. English antique blue glass decanter. This old Brandy decanter probably originated in Bristol.
It is a wonderful and very rare piece of early English blue glass.
We believe this lovely old bottle to date to the early nineteenth century, the Regency period, but there is a chance it could be earlier.
It is in a barrel shaped design and has gold rings around the body with Brandy written inside a gold shield. The bottle could be described as a decanter and it would have had some sort of stopper at some time in the past.
A fabulous and very rare piece of early English Regency glass.
Dimensions approx. Height 16 cm 6 1/2 ins. Width 8 cm 3 ins.
Weight 400 g........Shipping includes tracking.
