A pair of Antique French books in the French language. The books are by Voltaire and are numbered on the spine 1 and 2. One book has the date for 1830. They are both quarter bound in leather
Condition: fair used condition with signs of wear as you would expect on books nearly two hundred years old. There is some minor discolouration in places inside but nothing too bad, I have tried to show this in one of the photos. There are marks to the front of the books where the dreaded sticky labels were removed.
A lovely old pair of books with some splendid marbled paper decoration inside and nice gilded titles on the leather spines.
