French antique candleholder. 1800s candlestick.
A charming old French candle holder.
This splendid old candlestick is in brass and has a good weight to it and has developed a nice patina over the years.
I think it probably had a wire put through underneath at some point in the past to make it into a lamp but this you cant really see, it is still perfectly functional as a candlestick.
The overall condition is good with just the usual rub marks you would expect to see on an aged piece like this.
There are still some wax remnants present in the sconce.
A beautiful old candlestick that would enhance any home decor.
