French antique apothecary jar. Pharmacy jar.
Here we have an absolutely splendid old apothecary jar made from Paris porcelain.
This jar would have been kept in the pharmacy and used regularly.
The jar has "Aconit" to the front with beautiful gilt decoration and coloured floral displays.
We believe this lovely old pot to date to the early twentieth century probably around the twenties.
The jar does have an issue with the lid as I have shown in the photos, there is a hairline crack and a very small inner chip to the rim but this does not detract from the splendour of the piece and we have reflected the issue in the pricing.
A fabulous old original medical jar. It would make a super addition to any collection, a lovely decorative piece.
