French antique wooden flour scoop.
Here we have a fabulous historical old piece of French rustic kitchenware.
We believe this old scoop may have been for flour so it could have been used in a mill. It certainly has some age to it. It is made of wood, possibly fruit wood and as you can see it has had lots of use over the years which really adds to its character and charm. It has some dark patches across the body in places which you can see in the photos. The handle is shaped all the way round in a continuous form which is another interesting touch. It is a really rustic piece and would look fabulous in the kitchen.
