French antique wooden snuff box. Fabulous quality wooden snuff box.
Here we have a really interesting little antique in the form of a wooden snuff box from the early nineteenth century.
It is hand made in wood and has a very simple but effective form with a little hinged lid. The wood has a lovely patterning and we believe it may be Burr Walnut. The box is quite large for a snuff box.
The lid fits very nicely and the whole box has developed a lovely rich patina overs years of handling. This patina has formed over many years and really adds to the boxes originality and character.
A beautiful quality antique collectible to add to your collection and an ideal gift for any snuff box collector.
