French Art Nouveau Barbotine slipware jardinaire planter. Here we have a beautiful Barbotine planter from the Art Nouveau period. It dates to around 1900-1910. The slipware glaze on the planter is wonderful and shows bullrushes and lily pads so it certainly is a watery theme.
Condition: The overall condition is good, I can see no chips or cracks on the piece just light crazing to the glaze as to be expected. There are some numbers imprinted on the base 303 and a mark.
This beautiful old jardinaire is a real collectors piece and would enhance any home decor.
