A pair of French antique candlestick holders in a vase shape with insect , lizard and grapevine decoration. The candlesticks are made of spelter and are signed E. Provost which is Eugene Provost 1836-1885.
Condition: Good used condition with a very slight colouration difference which you can see in the photos. One stands with a very slight wobble. They probably originally stood one at each end of a mantelpiece. There are a few rubs and marks and some wax remnants still present in the tops. These candle holders are decorative and still usable for the original purpose.
