French antique brass candlesticks. French 19th century brass candle holders. One of the candlesticks as you can see in the photos has quite a lean on it so we have priced the pair accordingly.
A beautiful pair of French candlesticks, If you want to create a genuine Victorian decor then these candlesticks would be perfect. They are in a simple but elegant form with baluster shaped columns, they are a really solid pair of antique candle holders. These candlesticks were originally silver plated and you can see where over the years the silver has worn away to reveal the brass beneath which gives a really pleasing two tone effect.
The overall condition is good. There are a few very minor dings and scratches here and there but only what you would expect to see on aged pieces like this.
There are wax remnants present in the sconces.
A good genuine pair of antique candlesticks that would make a great addition to any home decor.
