French antique cattle painting. Here we have a charming old painting showing cattle in a country scene. The painting is naive in its style but has a certain charm about it. Judging by the age of the canvas I would say this painting is late nineteenth century. It does have some small holes to the canvas in places which I have tried to show in the photos and there has been a small repair to the canvas on the back which was done many years ago. As you can see the painting is unframed and would really benefit from a nice new gilt frame. A wonderful piece of original art that would make a great addition to any collection.
