Here we have an absolutely wonderful old piece of country house decor in the form of a carved wooden duck.
I am in two minds on this piece as to whether it is a decoy duck or just a piece of folk art but either way it is a really charming piece. A lovely piece of French antique folk art. It is quite a small duck so please check the dimensions carefully.
The duck is very rustic and has red, grey and black paint decoration. There is chipping to the wood and general wear all round as to be expected on an aged piece like this.
A fabulous old piece that would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
