French antique eel fork. Folk art fishing fork. Here we have a wonderful and very old piece of French folk art in the form of an eel catching fork. This one is in a bent shape which I believe was to enable it to be used over the side of a boat.. It is a very old piece dating back to at least the nineteenth century but it may well be earlier.
Condition: It is in a nice solid condition with just light surface rust as to you would expect on an aged piece like this.
