French antique glass photo frame with decorative brass ribbon detail.

Early 1900s French photo frame with decorative floral and ribbon brass detailing. This lovely old frame has a bevelled glass which sits inside the grooves top and bottom of the brass metal frame. These frames are spring loaded so you just pull the top and bottom slightly apart so you can slide the glass out and load you photo on a piece of card. This is a lovely original old frame with some splendid eighteenth century style ribbon decoration on the top to add that chateau feel. I believe this frame dates back to the early part of the twentieth century. A fabulous old frame that would look stunning with you favourite photo in situ. Great for bringing a touch of French antique elegance to your home decor.

Condition: Some minor rubbing in places.
