French antique oil painting. French oil on canvas showing a river scene with people in a boat and buildings in the background. There is a signature in the bottom left hand corner for "William" which is a bit strange as it sounds like an English artist working on a French canvas.
Condition: There are a few condition issues, there are some very small spots of white paint present right of centre where it looks like someone has been careless when decorating. I have tried to show this in the photos. The frame shows signs of wear but is in a basically sound condition.
A lovely antique oil painting that would make a great addition to any collection.
