French antique pill box. French antique white metal pill box.
Here we have a really lovely little piece of French boudoir decor, in the form of a cute little pill box.
I have said this is a pill box but it could possibly be a snuff box. I have put it as white metal, although it has the look of silver I can find no marks on the box.
We believe this box to date back to the nineteenth century you can see by the overall wear to the piece that it has lived a long life. The hinged top has floral decoration with a little raised flower in the centre. The little hinge works very well and the box closes nicely.
A charming little French antique box that would make a great addition to any collection.
