French porcelain Madonna statue. A really beautiful old statue depicting the Virgin Mary and the baby Jesus in white Paris porcelain with gilt highlights. The white robes have gilt highlights for decoration and there is what I think is a faded M in the cartouche at the base of the statue. It probably dates to the early twentieth century but could be slightly earlier.
