French antique religious candlestick. French altar candleholder. A fine example of a classic French altar candlestick. The candlestick we believe dates to the early part of the twentieth century. It has a triangular base with images of Jesus, Mary and Joseph in the cartouches. The candlestick has the unusual addition of three swan decorations on the sides of the column. A charming religious candle holder that would really add a special feel to any hoe decoration.

Condition: The overall condition of the candlestick is good, it is in its original condition we have given it a wash but have not attempted to polish it. There is wear all around the stick as you can see in the photos and verdi gris present in places. One of the swan decorations is pulling slightly away from the column.
