Here we have a stunning French watercolour showing some rustic properties with trees and a river in the foreground. A very well painted picture indeed.
Condition: The overall condition is good, it does have some minor surface foxing marks here and there which I have shown in the photos. The painting is not framed and seems to be painted onto paper mounted onto a backboard. On the back of the painting is some writing which is quite hard to read but you can clearly see the date for 1919.
It would probably be a good idea to have it put back under glass if you reframe it as this will help to protect it from further foxing and fading. A charming French watercolour that would make a great addition to any home decor.
