A pair of French decorative antique Art Nouveau vases with a Gothic touch. These beautiful vases are very much in the romantic style, typical of the era 1900 - 1910, they depict a young woman on each side with forget me not and bleeding heart flowers. These flowers symbolise devotional love and constancy. The vases have a bronze colour finish and are made of spelter. These vases are not designed to hold water or liquids, they have a hole in the bottom of each vase. They could however hold a dry flower display as they have a good weight to them.
Condition: Good used condition with the usual wear to the surfaces as you would expect on aged pieces like this and one of the vases has a very slight wobble, hardly noticeable.
