French oval wall hanging crucifix. An unusual example of a French devotional crucifix. The crucifix itself is in metal and is housed in an oval frame which has a gesso covering. The cross is backed by an opaque glass. The piece we believe dates to the mid nineteenth century.
Condition: Good used condition with nibbles to the gesso on the frame which you can see in the photos.
