French oil painting on wooden panel. Here we have a charming little hand painted wooden panel showing a kissing couple. This is a small painting so please check the dimensions carefully. By the look of the costume I would say that the couple are from Brittany. The painting is on a wooden panel block with the oil painting itself in a central raised section. It is naively painted but has a certain charm about it. A wonderful little original antique oil on panel that would make a perfect addition to any collection.

Condition: The overall condition is good but it does have a few minor marks and scratches here and there. The painting has light crackling to the surface which is quite usual for and aged painting like this.
