Here we have a lovely porcelain statue depicting Saint Therese of Lisieux.
A statue that really exudes beauty and serenity.
She is modelled holding a cross and flowers.
The condition overall is good, there are some surface marks which you can see in the close up photos but nothing too bad for her age. These old statues when kept in old farmhouses and cottages with open fires tend to take on some staining over the years which is to be expected.
She has been very finely modelled with a beautiful face.
The sculpture has captured the flowing robes very well.
A wonderful old statue that would make a fabulous addition to any collection and would look magnificent on display anywhere in the home.
