French antique blue velvet crucifix

French antique blue velvet crucifix. Antique holy cross. This lovely antique crucifix is covered in a bluey turquoise velvet which has faded over time giving the crucifix a time worn appeal. There is a small ring on the back for hanging purposes. I would say it dates back to the early twentieth century. A fabulous old crucifix that would look great on the wall in your home.

Condition: The overall condition is good, it does have a very tiny piece broken off on the left of the metal ware which I have tried to show in the photos but this really is a tiny piece and hardly noticeable.
