French vintage brass planter. Vintage planter. Large vintage planter.
A really striking French brass planter or jardinaire.
This lovely plant pot is of a very nice large size and has a simple but effective decoration.
It was probably produced in the world famous town of Villedieu les Poeles here in Normandy, which is where all the best quality copper and metal ware in the area was made.
The overall condition is good, with just minor rubs and scratching here and there. It stands nice and solidly on three feet and is a real quality piece. You can see this piece has a lovely hand hammered finish.
A fabulous vintage pot that would be perfect for an indoor houseplant and would bring a touch of the French country style to your home decor.
Dimensions approx. Height 9 cm 3 1/2 ins. Width excluding handles 26 cm 10 ins.
