French vintage copper kettle. Here we have a large French vintage copper kettle. This lovely piece of French copperware is vintage rather than antique and probably dates to the second half of the twentieth century. The overall condition for its age is good, it does have a couple of dings here and there and a crease to the copper at the top near the lid which you can see in one of the photos where the kettle spout is facing left, but this is minor and does not detract from the splendour of the piece. the lid is quite tight and the lids finial as you can see has a slight lean to it. The inside looks to be in reasonable order, though it does have some calcified build up here and there and some markings so this kettle is probably best kept as a decorative piece. What a magnificent piece of vintage copperware to hang in the kitchen, a really striking piece that would enhance any kitchen decor giving that French farmhouse look.
