Copper gratin dish. French antique copper gratin dish.
A lovely old piece of French copper cookware in the form of a large gratin dish.
This is a fabulous old piece of French copper ware full of charm and character.
We believe this dish to date to the early twentieth century. It has bronze carrying handles at the ends held on with copper rivets.
The overall condition is good for its age, it does have some scratching to the copper which you can see in the photos and a few very minor dings here and there.
It has been well used over the years but the tin lining looks to be in quite good condition so this pan is usable.
A really lovely piece of French antique copper ware that would look fabulous on display in the kitchen giving that French chateau kitchens look.
