Antique jewellery box. French antique ring box.
Here we have a really lovely little piece of French boudoir decor, in the form of a cute little ring box.
This little ring box dates back to the early twentieth century and has an inset picture of the Notre Dame de Délivrande on the lid
It is made of metal and stands on four feet, it has glass sides and top and is lined in a lovely bluey green silk.
The overall condition is good for it‘s age, the silk lining as you can see has faded in places, in time as is often the case with these old jewelry caskets. The glass sides are in good order, the top has bevelled edges.
It would make a wonderful addition to your dressing table, and look fabulous if you are trying to create that original French boudoir look.
