Antique miniature shoe. French miniature wooden clog.
This miniature wooden shoe exudes charm and quality.
We believe it to be a very old piece. We have put it as nineteenth century but we actually think it may well be eighteenth century.
Hand carved from a single piece of wood, it has metal studs on the base and a metal wire running over the top of the shoe.
We have left the shoe in its found condition and not tried to polish it up. As you can see in the photos it has seen some life and has rub marks and wear in most places. This just adds to the unique character of this wonderful old piece.
A charming little piece of collectable treen that would make a great addition to any collection. A very rare piece that should probably be in a museum.
