French quality 20 cm copper pan. This is a real top quality piece of French copper ware. These pans a great conductors of heat which is why they are used by all the top chefs in the world.
There is a makers stamp on the side but it is quite rubbed. I would think the pan probably originates from Villedieu les Poeles the famous copper manufacturing town quite near here in Normandy. I would think this pan dates to the late twentieth century, it is not antique.
The hand forged iron handle is held to the pan with three copper rivets.
This pan is in very good condition and is ready for immediate use.
This pan has real decorative appeal and character and would look stunning hanging in your kitchen creating that French country look.
