French bronze 18th century antique candlestick. Antique candleholder.
Here we have a beautiful old antique in the form of an eighteenth century candlestick.
It has a simplistic but beautiful form and is n the classical style of the period and is in good condition for its age. It does stand with a slight wobble which is often the case with these old candlesticks. I think at some point in time there has been a repair underneath as you can see there is a square nut attached under the base.
There is rose shaping around the base and the style is very much of the eighteenth century.
A beautiful original antique candlestick to add to a collection.
