French antique decorative brass and glass photo frame. A charming and original French antique photo frame, very stylish and very French. This lovely old frame has a beveled glass which sits inside the grooves top and bottom of the gilt metal frame. This is a lovely old original frame with some splendid eighteenth century style ribbon decoration on the top to add that chateau feel. I would think this frame probably dates to the very early twentieth century. A fabulous old frame that would look stunning with your favorite photo in situ, and would bring a touch of French antique elegance to your home decor.

Condition: The glass has a little bit of nibbling here and there as is often the case on these old photo frames. Some of the corners have minor chips. There is a very slight bend on the back stand which you can see in the photos. These frames are spring loaded so you just pull the top and bottom slightly apart and then you can slide the glass out and then load your photo on a piece of card.
