French porcelain Madonna statue. Virgin Mary statue.
A really beautiful old porcelain statue depicting the Virgin Mary.
This lovely old piece is of a small size just seven inches in height, but is really nicely modelled with hand painted decoration.
The main ground is with gilt highlights.
The overall condition is good, we can see no cracks or chips, there is some wear to the gilding as to be expected on a piece like this which would have been well handled over the years.
A wonderful old statue that would make a great addition to any home decor and an ideal piece to enhance any prayer room decor.
