French Art Deco marble based fish bookends. A charming pair of bookends made of marble with fish decoration. The fish are in metal probably spelter. They would make a fabulous desk or bookshelf accessory and really bring a touch of French Art Deco style to your home decor. A unique and charming pair of French bookends.

Condition: The overall condition is good, there are just the usual rub marks and scratches here and there that would expect to see on aged pieces like these. One of the fish has a bit of a rattle there is something loose inside, and also on this fish there is a small bit of silvering at the base where the spelter has become exposed from the bronze covering, but these are very minor issues and do not detract from the splendor of these lovey fish bookends.
