French Mid century oil painting of fishing boats.

A French mid century oil painting on canvas showing fishing boats in the harbour. This painting has the benefit of having some information on the back. It was painted in 1962 and is showing tuna boats in the port of Concarneau which is on the west Brittany coast.
The painting is signed bottom right 'R.Vaur.' The painting is an oil on canvas and is of quite a large size.
The overall condition is good, it just has the usual crackling to the paint in places and has some surface dirt from probably hanging on the same wall for a very long time.
It is a fabulous painting, the artist has used the raised paint to great effect creating wonderful reflections on the water. The painting is full of movement, and life.
This painting is vibrant, unique and original.
